Tight Ten Tuesday!!!

_______________
|TIGHT Ten Tuesday|

So Im making this a new thing on my page. Tight Tuesday's are when I don't have enough time to post longer and more drawn out TOP 5s because of school and work. Every Tuesday, I will do 10 short topics. What can I say sometimes times are tight, but anyways...

1. People who stand over your shoulder reading what you're doing
(Personal space is important, Eavesdropping is creepy!!)

2. Ignorant People.
(These people are just very stupid, not even worth my time to describe them.)

3. People who read their emails, work, and even texts out loud
(I DON'T need to hear things that don't concern me!!)

4. The use of Double Negatives.
    (Sort of a Nerd thing.)

5. People who blame anything but themselves for their own failure.
(Let's just take a moment and think of that one person.)

6. People who invite you somewhere and cancel.
   (#ALL the time.)

7. When your foot itches and you can't scratch it because you're wearing shoes.
   (Most ANNOYING thing ever!)

8. People who chew with their mouth wide open.
   (That's NOT cute!!!)

9. When you're eating something and people steal some of it without asking.
(Please ask when you want some of my food. Too many people do this.)

10. When someone tosses something towards the garbage can, like a basketball superstar, the leave it       on the ground after they miss!
(You are not a baller. Go pick up your trash.)

Ever been in an Awkward Conversation??? #SilenceKills

TOP 5 Topics to talk about when you feel an Awkward Silence coming while hanging out with Someone New

Everyone reading this has been through this.

Picture this:
You are hanging out with someone you have just become acquaint with for the first time. You guys are having a good time chatting and then all of a sudden there is this moment of silence. Both of you are thinking,
"What do I say next?"
"Should I ask about his/her day?"
"Is he/she going to say something?"
"Wow this is Awkward..."
I think most people can relate when I say that this silence is the most awkward and nerving thing ever
Well here are 5 ways that will potentially end the awkwardness that we all dread.

1. Ask Questions to get to know Them

Ultimately the most important thing to do is ask question, but only to a certain extent. You do not want to interrogate the person as if they are a suspect in a crime. Just ask a few questions and for each question build up a conversation from there. Here are some example of questions.
Ex: What was your most embarrassing moment?
       Whats your favorite color?
(I know this is a really basic question)
       Whats your favorite movie?
       (Might have a common interest)
What do you think is the most useless class in high school?
       (Could be interesting)
Whats your favorite thing to do?
      (Always good to know)
What shows do you watch on tv?
(Beneficial for everyone who is there. You can discover new shows.)
*One thing to keep in mind never ask questions that might weird most people out.
Ex: What's your blood type?
(This question is really stalker ish.. Unless you are stalking someone or talking about science               don't ask this)
       1. How old is the oldest cell in your body?
(Too nerdy and most people don't know)
       2. If you were a tree, what tree would you be?
(Just why... never ask this!! Honestly who cares!!!)
       3. Bright room or dark room?
(You might give people the wrong impression...)
       4. You can erase any horrible experience from your past. What will it be?
(Way too personal. Don't get deep on the first hangout)

2. Music

Between all the music that's out, you are bound to have a great conversation about music. From alternative to pop and maybe even country, a conversation should come out of discussing music. You might even find new music that sparks your interest.

3. Funny Experiences

Everyone enjoys hearing something funny. Laughter is always a good quality to bring to a conversation. One thing that you must make sure when telling others of a funny experience is that it is actually funny. If its only funny to you. then.. just expect the conversation to be more awkward than it was.

4. Sports

The world of sport is so vast that its almost impossible not to bring it up in a conversation. I know there are a few non sports fans out there, but there are a handful of people who are. From Soccer (personal favorite), to Basketball and Baseball to Golf, there are many sports you can talk about.

5. Current Events

IF you are going to talk about current events talk about celebrities, news, weather etc. One thing to never ever speak about when you are hanging with someone for the first time is:
** POLITICS**. I have spoke about politics with people that I've hung out with  for the first time and lets just say afterwards and to this day we avoid talking about it because all it bring is awkward silence.

So the next time you are hanging out with new people or talking to someone you are trying to become friends with be sure to these 3 rules:
- Keep the conversation going and be engaged
- Be sure to talk about your interests and theirs
- Be confident and have a good time
***Make sure to avoid politics and creepy questions***

Superbowl Semifinals??? The Best against the Best?? Whose coming out Victorious???

Top 4 (because there are only 4 quarterbacks left) Quarterbacks in Order of Favorite to Not

Game Ready!!! Who are you riding to the end zone with??
I am not a Huge football fan throughout the full season of football. For most of it I usually hear second hand about the wins and losses, but as soon as the beginning of January comes I suddenly become a football fanatic. The Superbowl is one of the most rowdy and exciting event of all American sports. These 4 out of 32 quarterbacks that I have listed are the lucky people who made it this far. Congrats to them. This is my list of my favorite quarterbacks from favorite to not.

1. Russell Wilson ("Legion of Boom")

"Its not where they take you, its where you take them".
- Team: Seattle Seahawks (#3)
- Height:5'11
- Birthday: November 29,1988
- Age: 26
- Experience: 3rd season
- TOP Achievements
    - Rookie of the Year

Being one of my favorite quarterbacks (alongside Colin Kaepernick) who had a horrible season), I had to write something on Russell Wilson. Russell Wilson is just a lovable guy. Between all his interviews, stage appearances, and quality of play, how can't you love him. Also he helped in making the Seahawks the best team in the NFL (12-4). Hopefully the Seahawks go on to win the Superbowl this year and become 2-time champions with Russell Wilson as their main guy. (Clearly a Seattle Fan)

2. Andrew Luck (A.K.A "Meal Ticket")

"The Victories are what I judge things on".
- Team: Indianapolis Colts (#12)
- Height:6'4
- Birthday: September 12,1989
- Age:25
- Experience: 3rd season
TOP Achievements
   - Colts First round Pick

As you can see Im picking all of the youngest quarterbacks as my first picks to win the Superbowl. I believe Andrew Luck, my 2nd pick, and Russell Wilson, my first pick, have very good chances of winning the Superbowl.

3. Aaron Rodgers (A.K.A "Discount Double Check")

"I know I'm capable of greatness. And I'm expecting to reach that level".
- Team: Green Bay Packers (#12)
- Height:6'2
- Birthday:December 2,1983
- Age:31
- Experience:10th season
- TOP Achievements
    - AP MVP
    - Player of the year
    - NFL Honors
There isn't much to say about Aaron Rodgers, except that he is a Legend. His game and style of play is amazing, but the reason why he is my third pick for this Superbowl is because he recently sprained his calf muscle, which will most likely have a major effect on his mobility.Ultimately,in the end,Anything can happen.

4. Tom Brady ("Homeland Defense")

"The true competitors are those who always play to win".
- Team: New England Patriots
- Height: 6'4
- Birthday: August 3, 1977
- Age:37
- Experience:15th season
- TOP Achievements
    - Sportsman of the Year
    - Offensive player of the year
And in last place is Tom Brady, which most people are probably shocked. I just don't feel that Tom Brady can meet the matches of this Superbowl. He is, without a doubt, a Legend and his stats, three Superbowl titles, and awards make that evident, but I'm sorry to say I do not think he has enough to win this Superbowl. As I said with Discount Double Check,Aaron Rodgers, Anything is possible, so we will just have to wait and see.

Make sure to Tune into the game on January 18 (Green Bay Packers .vs. Seattle Seahawks) (Indianapolis Colts .vs. New England Patriots) and on February 1 for the Superbowl!!!!! Peace and Love,
Asia J.

-4 degrees!!! Are You Kidding Me???

Top 5 Warm and Snug activities to Do while the weather is Uncooperative

Life's hard
These cold temperatures are literally bone chilling. If there are any people out there reading who don't understand my struggle let me just tell you how lucky you are. Even though I am usually a fan of the cold weather, there comes a time when enough is enough. -4  degrees is just a bit too cold. I've decided to make this Top 5 list of way to stay occupied and relaxed even with these frigid temperatures.

1. Start a blog

Blogs are a great way to express your feelings about topics you have strong feeling for. On a blog you can write anything you want to without restraint. The topics can go from warm, fuzzy socks to the crazy teacher who seems to hate you. Im am very new at blogging and matter fact this is my first post. So you should try it as well!!!

2. Drink Hot Chocolate

From Starbuck to Homemade Hot Chocolate ,you really can't go wrong. Hot Chocolate is basically what keeps me alive throughout the winter. The amazing thing that I love about it, is that you can add your own toppings, such as whip cream, chocolate or caramel drizzle, or even a hint of peppermint (Basically my drink at Starbuck).

3. Do Online Shopping

Even if your not much of a person who enjoys shopping for clothes, you can always look for some fun and cool new things like... food (#obsession), books, and home living accommodations if that's what your into. Also there are a lot of great deals online for summer clothing and tools that you will need when Summer comes, so if you feel like getting a head start on that be my guest.

4.  Take a Nice, 1hr long nap

I know from being at school all day that when I have time to just pass out on my bed, couch, or actually anywhere I will do so. Everyone needs a little extra sleep in their lives. Most of you reading this probably agree that when you get sleep it's a beautiful thing. Also, for health and functioning reasons, sleep overall makes you more alert and aware of the events taking place around you. So take advantage of the winter to sleep.

5. (Attempt to) Be Productive!!!

After you take that amazing nap of yours please be sure to attempt to be productive in some field of study. While you are indoors and at home you really should use it to your advantage. It doesn't matter what the field is. If you are productive at doing all your work for school before it's due I commend you, or if your dream is to finish the game Grand Theft Auto, then that's fine too as long as you are on a mission to get something done.

Well don't let the cold weather keep you down and continue to check my page for new Top 5s. Between school and all I will probably post 2 or 3 times I week (I'll try my best). Peace and Love to all.
